Rebuild an engine or not?
I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback Limited Edition with about 130k miles on it. Its not in great condition (dings, dents, worn interior), but I'm not embarrassed driving it around. Recently the radiator sprung a leak. Come to find out there is some gasket
blown head gasket, $2,000 is way too high a price for that job, more like $1,000 to $1,200.
